WACO, Texas (AP) - Rachel Allison had 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead No. 9 Baylor to an 84-57 win over Texas State on Friday night.
Victoria Davis and Tamarra Evans-Sluga each scored 13 for Texas State (6-7) and Joyce Ekworomadu had 10 points.
Tisdale converted a three-point play and made two more free throws and Morrow hit a 3-pointer to stretch Baylor's two-point lead into a 35-25 advantage with 3:10 left in the first half.
Allison scored six during a 10-2 run to open the second half and gave the Bears a 51-33 lead with 15:56 remaining.
Baylor's only other extended run came during the final 6:40 as Allison's two free throws and 3-pointer off an inbounds play spurred a 16-2 series to close out the game.
Baylor scored six of its first nine points from the free-throw line as Texas State committed three fouls before scoring its first point. The Bobcats were whistled for 31 fouls and Baylor made 32 of 41 free throws.
