Miscellaneous Notes

  • With tonight's Lady Bear win, Kim Mulkey's career record is now 356-80.
  • Baylor raised its season record to 18-1, 8-0 in Big 12 play.
  • The Lady Bears have won 50-straight at home, the nation's longest home winning streak.
  • BU extended its Big 12 regular season win streak to 30 games with the victory. BU's last regular season Big 12 loss was at Texas Tech, 56-45, on Feb. 18, 2011.
  • The Lady Bears are 41-1 in regular season Big 12 games over the past three seasons.
  • Baylor has now won five-straight vs. Oklahoma, but the Sooners lead the all-time series 24-16. The series in Waco is now 9-9.  
  • Baylor is 92-4 over its last three seasons.
  • The Lady Bears are 21-1 vs. ranked opponents over the last two seasons.
  • The attendance of 10,419 marked the 10th sellout and fifth largest crowd in program history.

Team Notes

  • With 12 blocks, Baylor set a new season-high, surpassing the 10 vs. West Virginia and Rice.
  • Baylor had two players with double-doubles for the first time since Brooklyn Pope and Brittney Griner did so on Dec. 18, 2012 vs. Tennessee.
  • The Lady Bears had six players in double figures for the first time since Dec. 21, 2011 vs. McNeese State.
  • Baylor scored 80 or more points in a game for the 11th time this season.

Individual Notes

  • With 8 blocks today, Griner now has the all-time NCAA DI record of 665 career blocks, surpassing Louella Tomlinson's (Saint Mary's [Calif.]) previous mark of 663.
  • With her 15 points today, Brittney Griner has now scored in double-figures in 99 straight games and in 128 of 131 in her career. 
  • Griner now has 2,833 career points. That ranks second all-time in the Big 12. She needs just 3 points to pass OSU's Andrea Riley (2,835)  for the Big 12's top spot.
  • The 8 blocks by Griner marked the 22nd game of her career in which she has had 8 or more blocks.
  • Griner has now  recorded a block in 68 straight outings and 128 of her 131 career games.
  • Griner fouled out for just the second time in her career.
  • Odyssey Sims (12 pts, 10 ast) registered her third career double-double.
  • Sims' 12 points in the game give her double-figure scoring in 10 games this season and the 60 in her career.
