MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• The win extends Baylor's season win streak to 20 games and is the longest current win streak NCAA Division I.
• Baylor, 23-1, has posted its best start in program history, improving upon the 2007-08 season's 20-1 start.
• Baylor is now 23-57 all-time vs. Texas. Kim Mulkey is now 14-10 against the Longhorns.
• The Lady Bears have posted their best start in Big 12 play at 10-0. The 2007-08 squad opened league play at 8-0.
• With 10,295 fans in attendance today, Baylor recorded its third sellout of the season and broke the program's single-season attendance mark of 122,550 set last season over a 17-game span. Through 16 home games, Baylor has drawn 122,675 fans.
• Baylor's 50 first-half points vs. Texas marks the fifth time this season the team has scored 50 or more points in the first half. It also marks the most first-half points scored by a Texas opponent this season.
• Jones' and Griner's double-doubles marked the first time since Dec. 19, 2009, that two Baylor players recorded double-double in the same game. Griner (18p/12r) and Morghan Medlock (16p/11r) accomplished the feat against Gonzaga.

TEAM NOTES
• Baylor hasn't allowed an opponent to shoot 50 percent in 161-straight games, dating back to March 25, 2006 against Maryland.
• Baylor's 28-point (50-22) lead marked the team's largest halftime lead in a Big 12 game.
• Baylor has won nine of its 10 league games by 12 points or more.
• By holding Texas to a .292 shooting percentage, Baylor has now held 12 of its 24 opponents to under a .300 shooting percentage.
• Baylor's 50 first-half points matched the teams' most points in a first half vs. a Big 12 team (Oklahoma, 2/1/98).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
Brittney Griner (29 pts/12 reb) has scored in double-figures in 56-of-57 career games, including all 24 this season. She notched her 15th 20+ point performance of the season, 30th of her career. In addition she registered her seventh double-double of the season and 23rd of her career.
• Griner's six blocks marked the 11th time this season she's had 5+ blocks, 33rd of her career.
Melissa Jones (15 pts/10 reb) notched her second double-double of the season and 10th of her career.
Odyssey Sims' 14 points marks her 17th double-digit effort of the season.
