Baylor Head Coach Kim Mulkey
On the game:
"It's wasn't one of our better ones, but it's a win. We just basically willed ourselves to a win tonight, in a game that wasn't really pretty.
On the Lady Bears' effort:
"They did a heck of a lot better job willing themselves to a win than I did coaching them. Those kids deserve all the credit."
On the play of Rachel Allison.
"Rachel has a tendency to make me take her out of the game. But when she's sitting over there next to me, I keep thinking of all of the big rebounds she's come down with and the big plays she's made, and I have to put her back in. She came up with another big rebound tonight."
Baylor GUARD Jhasmin Player
On having trouble closing out the game:
"As a team we seem to do it all the time. We had to continue to just keep giving it to them and not let the nerves get to us. We had the home crowd on our side tonight, and they did a great job keeping us going."
Baylor FORWARD Bernice Mosby
On blocking six shots:
"I don't even remember ever having six blocks in a game. I knew I needed to be there to help when they posted up our guards, and I was just there at the right time to make some big plays."
OKLAHOMA STATE HEAD COACH KURT BUDKE
On Baylor's home court advantage:
"This might've been our toughest game left. Coming to Baylor is an awful tough duty."
On his team's play:
"I'm so very, very proud of these kids, and I want them to walk out of here with their heads held high. I think you see that there's no more walkovers coming from Stillwater anymore."
On the final possessions of the game:
"We had some key possessions where we didn't finish and they did, so give them credit for that. At halftime we were lucky to still be in this game because we didn't play well for the first 20 minutes. In the end, we had as much chance to win it as they did."
