Head Coach Kim Mulkey

On the low scoring game:
"They wanted us to be low scoring, they trapped us in the zone. It almost looks like a 2 -2 -1 and TCU plays their forwards so high that it takes away angles and allowed us to get more post touches. The majority of our scoring came from the perimeter.

"We didn't have the defensive pressure like we normally have until the last 10 minutes of the game and we have to understand, in a game like this, their style of playing wants to keep us low scoring and to play a half court game."

Senior guard Odyssey Sims

On it being a sluggish game:
"I just tried to keep playing and speed it up with our transitions. I tried to be more aggressive offensively and defensively but TCU played zone so it was a slow game."

Freshman forward Nina Davis

On the match up with TCU's Chelsea Prince:
"Being small, I just tried to use my body to get in under the basket so they couldn't block my shots. Prince wasn't playing like a true forward, she didn't post up so I just tried to keep her in front of me to get lay ups."
