 Head Coach Kim Mulkey
On OU's toughness on their home court:
"They're 14 and 1 on this floor this year. Their only loss was down to the wire against A&M. We knew it would be a great crowd. We knew that they would play extremely hard. Everything that we expected did happen. What we didn't expect was Brittney [Griner] to shoot as poorly as she did, but we kept going to her. We persevered."

On Odyssey Sims:
"Odyssey grew up a lot tonight. She made that shot at A&M, too. She is a tough kid to guard. She needs to be shooting more. The last couple of games, I think at Texas Tech, she was 1-for-10 and then, the last game against K-State, she only shot three times. She understood the importance and the value of her offense for us tonight. She didn't mind shooting it and thank goodness she did."

On Danielle Robinson's final shot:
"It was a good look for them and it rimmed in and out and we would be in here talking about a loss if it goes in. It is just the nature of sports. She is a fine, fine point guard. She can score when she wants to, but she just really makes her team better. Her team is better because of her."

 Sophomore Center Brittney Griner
On finding her teammates on the perimeter:
"The whole night they were trying to double-down on me and it was open out there, so I found (Odyssey Sims) a couple times there and she hit some wide open 3's. It just helped us out a lot by her knocking down her shots."

On the feeling of winning the game:
"It was good. I just am proud of my team. I had a bad game and they just kept coming to me. They never strayed away from me because I had a bad game and I'm just happy to have them all on my team."

 Freshman Guard Odyssey Sims
On her offensive game:
"Just like Coach said, I didn't shoot the ball in the last couple of games. Coming into today's game I just felt confident. That's why I knew it was going to be a tough game and when I'm open to shoot it. So every time I was open I would shoot it and I just nailed it."

On finding open shots:
"(Danielle) Robinson, she was roaming the paint more to BG (Brittney Griner). So I knew to relocate and get the ball to her and I was open on the back side just about every time."

 Head Coach Sherri Coale
On the final seconds of the game:
"We scored on the high ball screen and before I could even turn around Odyssey (Sims) had scored, so I really don't have any idea of what happened on that play. We came back, had the play out of the timeout called to get Vegas (Aaryn Ellenberg) or D-Rob (Danielle Robinson) depending what the defense did and I thought Danielle did a great job of going right at the rim and drawing the defense to her."

On the Sooners defensive performance tonight:
"Credit our guys, we stayed the course. We wanted to limit their points in the paint and I thought we did a fabulous job of that. Right down the stretch they beat us off the dribble a couple of times, which as much as anything, comes from the fatigue of playing 40 minutes. But I thought our attention to the game plan was really good. We did a better job in the second half of getting out to Odyssey and she made some contested 3's. I thought our guys really stuck to the game plan and did a much better job than the previous time."

On freshman Aaryn Ellenberg's performance:
"She was unbelievable offensively, she just has a knack for scoring the basketball. She is so dangerous in transition because her pull-up is so quick and she scored from a little bit of everywhere tonight. I loved her passion and loved the way she competed."

On the play of OU post players against Brittney Griner:
"They were much more comfortable going at her. A couple of nice pump fakes to get her in the air and then go finish. Lyndsey (Cloman) had the nice fake in transition, she flew by and finished the layup. They are just more confident and these are guys that have never played against her before (this season) and there is no way to simulate that. Now being on the floor with her they were obviously more confident this time."

On what this game does for this teams confidence heading into the postseason:
"Well we're getting better and I've said all year we're very young, we're a work in progress. We continue to learn and get better and show resilience and that's what's most important in late February. Are you still improving or are you the same team you were in mid-January? I think we're getting better, were getting more balance, were competing together as Carlee (Roethlisberger) alluded. I think with this one you take the sting and you take it out on whoever or whatever is in your path. This one is not easy to swallow."

 Senior Guard Danielle Robinson
On the last shot:
"I got a good look. Credit to my teammates for getting me floor space. I just looked at the rim and I think it was a great shot. It was on the rim for awhile, and Whitney (Hand) ended up getting the rebound but by that point it was too late. I was on the floor, but I did get to see it."
 Senior Forward Carlee Roethlisberger
On collecting a career high 11 rebounds:
"It is tough. I guess that's what rebounding is. You just have to fight for it and unfortunately they came out with a few more offensive rebounds."

On playing a competitive game against the third-ranked team:
"We had some rough games in the past, and I think that the way we fought tonight and the way we fought together was a huge step for us. I think we have proven to ourselves and to a lot of people that we can hang in there and beat anybody. We just need to keep moving forward."
