• Baylor is the 11th team in the NCAA era to reach the 36-win mark in a single-season: 39—Tennessee, 1998; Connecticut, 2002, 2009, 2010; 37—Connecticut, 2003; 36—Connecticut, 2000, 2008, 2011; Tennessee, 2008; Stanford, 2010; Baylor, 2012
• Baylor’s Baylor 36-0 start to the season ranks as the fifth-best start since 1982; following Tennessee's 39-0 mark in 1998 and UConn's 39-0 mark in 2002, 2009 and 2010. It's the first 36-0 by a Division I team since UConn in 2010.
• Brittney Griner’s second half dunk is just the second in NCAA Women’s Tournament history, Tennessee’s Candace Parker threw one down vs. Army in 2005.
• The 36-0 record is the best in program history and keeps Baylor as the only undefeated team in NCAA Division I.
• Baylor’s victories establishes a program record, bettering last season’s 34 wins.
• With today's Lady Bear victory, Kim Mulkey's career record now stands at 334-79.
• The Lady Bears own the longest active win streak (36) in NCAA Division I women's basketball.

Team Notes
• Baylor hasn't allowed an opponent to shoot 50 percent in 211 straight games, dating back to March 25, 2006 against Maryland.
• Baylor has now won 110 straight games when scoring 70 or more points. BU is 251-13 under Kim Mulkey when scoring 70 or more points.

Individual Notes
Brittney Griner (25 pts.) has scored in double-figures in 76 straight games and in 106 of 108 in her career. She recorded her 23rd 20-point game of the season and 65th of her career.
• With her six blocks tonight, Griner extends her NCAA Championship career block record to 71.
• Griner registered the sixth dunk of her career and first of the season with a drop-step, right hand slam at the 18:10 mark of the second half.
Destiny Williams (11 pts.) has scored in double figures in 20 games this season, 28 in her career.
• Williams (11 p/13 r) turned in her 13th double-double of the season and 15th of her career.
