Odyssey Sims' 1,054 points this season extended her Big 12 Conference single season scoring record. She has scored the most points by a NCAA Division I player this season, passing Jerica Coley (FIU) who finished the season with 972.
With 1,054 points this season, Sims becomes just the second NCAA Division I women's player to score 1,000 points in a season, Missouri State's Jackie Stiles holds the record at 1,062.
Sims' now has 2,533 career points, moving her to No. 3 on BU's career scoring chart, passing Sophia Young's 2,480.
Sims' 14 points in the first half marks the 34th time this season she's been in double figures by halftime.
Sims' 33 points extended her streak of double-digit scoring to 50 games. Sims was last held to single-digits vs. UCONN, Feb. 18, 2013, when she had 9. She now has 31 games with 20 or more points and 16 games with 30-plus points.
Sims' six assists today give her 17 games with five or more assists in a game this season.
Sims now has 109 career games in double figures.
Davis has 328 rebounds as a freshman and moves to No. 2 on BU's freshman rebounding list. She trails Sophia Young's (2002-03) school record 351.
