Baylor Head Coach Kim Mulkey
On what the team can take away from their two exhibition games:
"I think we got more out of our practices. Not playing some of our players has really taken us out of the flow a little bit, as far as seeing different combinations. Our practices are very competitive, but these did give us a game type atmosphere. From here on out it is the real stuff and I just hope that we can get four games in here at the WNIT. That would be great to play the level of competition we could potentially play."
On the play of Sune Agbuke:
"Well I think you saw a little bit of what she is capable of doing tonight. She had a couple of really good passes. She has great instincts, she got the ball out quickly on the perimeter and she blocked a couple of shots. She is just a happy person, and it is just so fun to watch kids play and be excited, so I was happy for Sune."
On the Terran Condrey's progress:
"Well Terran is quiet in games. Looking at tonight, she had a quiet six rebounds. I would not have sat here and thought that she would have done that. You know she can shoot it. At halftime I think she had seven assists and I think a majority of those were to Brittney Griner. I keep telling them all the time that we need to be better at passing and knowing where to give Griner the ball and I was very happy with that tonight."
Post Destiny Williams
On Sune Agbuke's performance tonight:
"The first game she came out and was so nervous. I think that she came out here tonight more relaxed, and the team cheering for her made her relax even more and play more like herself like she does in practice."
On playing as a small forward:
"I feel more comfortable out there because of the players I have behind me. I think that I compete against the fastest guards every day in practice. I am just going to try to do the best I can out there."
