MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• The win extends Baylor's non-conference Ferrell Center win streak to 58. BU's last non-conference home loss came on Nov. 19, 2006 vs. 12th-ranked Purdue in the Preseason WNIT championship game.
• Today's attendance of 8,158 is the largest season home opening crowd since 2005 vs. UCLA (9,065) and the second-largest all-time for a season opener.
• Baylor leads the series with Lamar 6-1.
• Baylor is 79-4 over its last 83 games.
• BU is now 31-8 all-time in season openers, 11-2 under head coach Kim Mulkey. The Lady Bears are 21-2 in Ferrell Center season openers, 13-0 under Mulkey.
• Baylor's regular season non-conference record under coach Mulkey is 142-9. BU's regular season, non-conference home game record under coach Mulkey is 97-1.
• With today's Lady Bear victory, Kim Mulkey's career record improved to 339-79.

TEAM NOTES
• Baylor hasn't allowed an opponent to shoot 50 percent from the field in 216 straight games, dating back to March 25, 2006, against Maryland.
• The Lady Bears have won 41 straight games, the longest active win streak and No. 5 all-time.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
Brittney Griner has now scored in double-figures in 81 straight games and in 111 of 113 in her career. She now has 69 career 20-point performances.
• With two blocks tonight, Griner now has a Big 12 record 601 career blocks; 62 shy of Louella Tomlinson's (Saint Mary's [Calif.]) NCAA DI record of 663.
• Griner has now recorded a block in 51 straight outings and 110 of her 113 career games.
• Griner needs 29 rebounds to reach 1,000 for her career to become just the fifth Lady Bear to haul down 1,000 boards.
Kimetria Hayden has scored 841 career points and needs just 159 to become the 30th Lady Bear to achieve the milestone.
Chardonae Fuqua, Kristina Higgins and Niya Johnson all made their first-career appearances on Friday.
