#2 Baylor 93 – Montana State 56 – Nov. 13, 2010
Ferrell Center (Waco, Texas) – Att.: 6,131

Baylor Head Coach Kim Mulkey
On the early lineup change:
“It was the three turnovers. I had just talked to them about it in the timeout prior to the game. I told them that the band’s not here, we don’t have much of an atmosphere, so create your own atmosphere, play with some enthusiasm, take care of the ball and I don’t think we got that the first couple of possessions.”

On the reserves:
“I thought they played very well. They came in and gave us a spark, attacked and did some good stuff.”

On Britney Griner’s performance:
“I thought Britney struggled, and I guess that if she can struggle and we can score 93, imagine what we can do when she’s really playing well. I thought she just didn’t get into the flow.”

Guard Melissa Jones
On the play of the reserves after the early lineup change:
“They came up there ready to play, and so as soon as they saw that opportunity they took advantage of it, and they got right in there getting rebounds and scoring.”

Guard Odyssey Sims
On if she is feeling more comfortable out on the court:
“Yes, at first I was real nervous because she (Mulkey) always tells me to keep the ratio 2:1, so I’m always worried about my turnovers and getting my team involved. So now I’m getting a feel for it and getting more comfortable as far as running the floor, running the break, getting my team involved and creating opportunities for my teammates.”
