MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Tonight's announced attendance was 3,007.
• Baylor will face Purdue in the Preseason Women's NIT finals on Sunday, Nov. 19. The Lady Bears will host the contest with tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
• The championship game against Purdue will mark the third time Baylor has hosted a NIT championship game and the first time the Lady Bears have hosted the Preseason Women's NIT championship contest.

TEAM NOTES
• With the victory, head coach Kim Mulkey moved her all-time November record to 31-2.
• Today's victory was the 20th straight for Baylor against non-conference opponents at the Ferrell Center. Under Kim Mulkey, Baylor is now 46-2 against non-conference opponents at home and 94-14 against non-conference opponents overall since her arrival.
• Baylor moved its all-time record in the Preseason Women's NIT to 4-1 with the victory.
• With the win against BYU, the first meeting between the two teams since 1978, Baylor moved its record to 2-1 all-time against the Cougars.
• Baylor held BYU to 42.3 percent (22-of-52) shooting on the night while Baylor shot 42.9 percent (24-of-56) on the night. Baylor is now 144-9 under Kim Mulkey when out-shooting its opponent from the field.
• The Lady Bears held a 32-24 edge in points in the paint, an 18-16 edge in second chance points and a 27-12 edge in points off turnovers.
• For the third time this season, Baylor made more free throws than the opponent attempted as the Lady Bears were 29-of-37 from the line (78.4 percent) while BYU was 13-of-19 (68.4 percent) from the stripe.

PLAYER NOTES
• With 28 points, Bernice Mosby posted double digit scoring for the 62nd time in her career and for the third consecutive time as a Lady Bear. The 28 points was a season-high for Mosby and three off of her career high of 31 against George Washington on Dec. 22, 2003, while playing with Florida.
Latara Darrett came off the bench to score 12 points in the victory, on 4-of-5 shooting  from behind the arc, to set a season-high for the freshman. The 12-point output marks the second time she has reached double figures in her career.
Jessica Morrow added 14 points in the win, two shy of tying her career high, as Angela Tisdale scored 14 points in the victory.
Jhasmin Player set a career high with seven rebounds in the victory, breaking her previous mark of four set against Army last season. Jessika Bradley posted seven rebounds to record a new season-high.
Danielle Wilson set a season-high with six blocked shots in the victory.
Angela Tisdale led all Baylor players with four assists on the night.
• Tisdale was 11-of-12 from the line in the victory while Mosby was a perfect 8-for-8 from the stripe.
