  • Baylor now holds a 2-1 series advantage against ­­­­the Stanford Cardinal. The last time that Baylor defeated Stanford was a 63-59 decision on Dec. 2, 1983 in a neutral site game in Las Vegas.
  • Baylor is now 16-9 all-time against Pacific-10 Conference opponents. The Lady Bears will match up twice more this season against the conference with road games at Oregon (Dec. 20) and California (Dec. 22).
  • With the win, this is the highest ranked opponent that Baylor has defeated in the regular since defeating No. 3 Texas in 2004, 78-64.
  • The last time that Lady Bears defeated a top-5 opponent was in 2005 against No. 2 LSU in the NCAA Final Four semifinal.
