Head coach Kim Mulkey - I thought our defense, especially in the first half, was as good as I've seen us play. We had a lot of energy and were switching on everything. Of their 45 shots, 27 were from 3-point range and 30 of their 57 points were from beyond the arch.
On the end of the game:
I don't know if fatigue set in at the second half, I think we got stagnant at the end. But, we as coaches will work on that, especially on the offensive end.
On Jessica Morrow - I thought she did a good job tonight. Not only was she our leading scorer, she was active on the boards tonight. She's such a player that can play with anybody. She hit some key free throws down the stretch as well.
On keys to the game:
I thought free throws were key down the stretch, Kelly Griffin and Jessica hit some key ones at the end. Our perimeter game was on, that was the one of the differences in the game.
Jessica Morrow, junior guard:
I had been struggling before tonight but they kept telling me to keep shooting and they just kept falling.
We saw a different type of team tonight than what we usually play against. They were hard to guard and are well coached. But, it was good for us to see a team like this and know that we came out with a win.
