#2/3 Baylor 106 – Southeastern Louisiana 41 – Nov. 28, 2010
Ferrell Center (Waco, Texas) – Att.: 6,015

Baylor Head Coach Kim Mulkey
On Brittney Griner’s triple double:
“What is the record here for a triple double? I would think that she is going to hold every triple double and every big record. The good thing about coaching Brittney is that she did not come here to break records, she came here to win championships. We have got to get us a championship while she is here. We have got to start with a Big 12 Championship and try to get us a National Championship. Those records will happen along the way for her.”

On Makenzie Robertson’s shooting ability:
“Makenzie can shoot the ball, I think you all have seen that. She can get her shot off quickly and she is one of the shooters that you go ‘gosh I am disappointed’ when it does not go in. She understands her strengths and weaknesses and when you are out there and you have an opening, you shoot it. She really is shooting the ball well.”

On the efficiency of the game:
“In games like that, you have got to coach and you have got to play without looking at the scoreboard. You have got to get better today. I thought we were able to put some things in. You saw the 1-3-1 zone, things we had been working on this past week. We did some things today that we have not done all year. We did some half-court sets and we may not have scored on them, but we tried to run some things for some players. If nothing else, who our next opponent is has to watch game film and might pick up some things they have got to work against. I thought it was a very good half. We had three turnovers at the half. We shot the ball well, but there will not be many games like that left.”

Guard Makenzie Robertson
On the playing time she is given:
“I try to make the most of my minutes. It does not matter how much time it is, I just try to make the most of it.”

Post Brittney Griner
On Melissa Jones’ behind the back pass to Brooklyn Pope:
“It fires us up. It gets us going. I am glad it was Brooke because I probably would have fumbled it.”
