WACO, Texas (AP) - Rachel Allison scored 18 points and Jessica Morrow added 13 off the bench to lead No. 10 Baylor over St. John's, 75-65 on Saturday night.
Danielle Wilson scored 12 points for Baylor (7-1), including 10 in the first half, as the Lady Bears handed St. John's its first loss in eight games this season.
Monique McLean led the Red Storm with 16 points and eight rebounds. Sky Lindsay had 11 points.
Baylor went on a 9-0 run early in the first half to take a 10-point lead and seize control. A 7-0 run later in the first half put Baylor up 12. The Red Storm wouldn't come within 10 points of the Lady Bears for the rest of the game.
The start of the game was delayed 15 minutes because of a power outage at the Ferrell Center.
