STORY LINES
• No. 15 Baylor, 15-5 on the season and 2-4 in league play, seeks its first Big 12 road win of the season when it travels to Manhattan, Kan., to take on the Kansas State Wildcats on Wed., Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. The Lady Bears are coming off Sunday's 61-50 loss at 19th-ranked Texas.
• BU's game at Texas (Jan. 31) marked the first of four road games in five contests; at Texas, at Kansas State, hosting Colorado (Feb. 6), at Oklahoma (Feb. 10), at Iowa State (Feb. 13).
• The Wildcats enter the game at 11-9 overall and 3-3 in Big 12 action. Kansas State, playing its second straight home game, enters the contest after defeating Iowa State, 73-67, on Sunday.
• The Lady Bears remain the Big 12 leader in field goal percentage (.489), field goal percentage defense (.323), rebounding offense (44.9), rebound margin (+11.1) and blocked shots (7.5).
• Among Big 12 teams, Baylor ranks No. 2 in 3-point field goal defense (.245) while Kansas State ranks No. 2 in 3-point field goal percentage (.410) and treys per game (8.0).
• BU freshman post Brittney Griner became just the seventh female to dunk in a regular-season NCAA contest when she threw one down against Jacksonville State, Nov. 24. She is also a defensive threat as a shot blocker and alterer with her 88" wing span. Griner added two more dunks to her total against Texas State. She has blocked 114 shots and altered 55 more.
• As a team, Baylor ranks No. 2 nationally in blocks per game (7.5), field goal percentage (.489) and field goal percentage defense (32.3); No. 6 in scoring margin (20.7), rebound margin (11.1) and 3-point field goal percentage defense (25.5) and No. 18 in scoring offense (76.6).
• In 10 seasons under head coach Kim Mulkey, Baylor is 252-71 (.780), which ranks her No. 4 nationally in winning percentage. In addition, the Lady Bear program ranks No. 7 among the NCAA Division I's winningest teams over that span.
Brittney Griner blocks more shots per game (5.7) than 321 of the 332 NCAA Division I schools and only 19 teams beside Baylor have blocked more shots than Griner. She ranks No. 2 nationally in blocks (114) and needs six to break Courtney Paris' Big 12 single-season record of 119 set during the Sooners' 36-game 2005-06 campaign.

Baylor and Kansas State have faced three common opponents so far this season, Missouri, Nebraska and Oklahoma State. Kansas State is 1-2 versus the trio while the Lady Bears are 0-3.
