WACO, Texas - Four members of the top-ranked 2018 Baylor women's basketball signing class have been selected Jordan Brand Classic All-Americans. Aquira DeCosta (Sacramento, Calif.) and Queen Egbo (Houston, Texas) will play for the away team, while Honesty Scott-Grayson (Severn, Md.) and NaLyssa Smith (Converse, Texas) will suit up for the home team at the 2018 Jordan Brand Classic on Sunday, April 8 at 2:30 p.m. (CT) in Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
With four selections, the Lady Bears will be the most represented program at this year's Jordan Brand Classic.
DeCosta secures her third All-America honor of the season, after being named a McDonald's All-American and to the Naismith Trophy High School All-American first team. The five-star recruit, who is one of five finalists for the Naismith National Girls' High School Player of the Year award, is ranked fourth nationally and first at her position by ESPN Hoopgurlz.
Egbo, also a McDonald's All-American, received her second All-American nod of the season. The five-star recruit, who ranks 15th overall and fourth at her position by ESPN Hoopgurlz, was included on the Naismith Trophy Midseason Girls' Basketball Watch List.
Smith also earned her third All-American award, as she secured McDonald's All-American and Naismith Trophy High School All-American second team recognition. The five-star recruit was one of 10 semifinalists for the Naismith National Girls' High School Player of the Year. She ranks eighth nationally and third at her position by ESPN Hoopgurlz.
Scott-Grayson earned her third All-American accolade, as she was recognized as a McDonald's All-American and was named to the Naismith Trophy National High School All-American third team. The five-star recruit, who was included on the Naismith Trophy Midseason Girls' Basketball Watch List, is ranked 18th overall and second at her position by ESPN Hoopgurlz.
