THE RUNDOWN
The top-ranked Baylor Lady Bears, NCAA Division I's lone undefeated team with a school-record 33-0 overall, takes aim at their fourth Big 12 Tournament crown since 2005. Baylor claimed its third outright Big 12 regular season championship and second straight crown, as BU's first title came in 2005 with a 14-2 league record and the Lady Bears were 15-1 in 2011. The Lady Bears seek to claim their second straight and fourth overall Big 12 Championship title in Kansas City, Mo. Baylor won the postseason championship and the Big 12's automatic NCAA Tournament bid in 2005, `09 and `11.

Baylor and Texas A&M meet in the Big 12 Championships' title game for the third time in the last four years . Baylor is 2-0 vs. the Aggies in Big 12 Championship title games, winning in 2009 and `11.

Baylor is led by two double-digit scorers on the season. Junior post Brittney Griner, National Player of the Year candidate and 2012 U.S. Olympic Team finalist, leads the Big 12 with 23.7 points per game while sophomore guard Odyssey Sims, an All-America candidate, manages 14.4 a contest. Junior forward/post Destiny Williams adds 9.9 an outing and junior guard Kimetria Hayden averages 9.2 a game. Griner, Williams and junior forward/post Brooklyn Popeare the team's top rebounders at 9.6, 9.3 and 5.7 boards per game, respectively. Sims is also averaging 4.7 assists and 3.1 steals per contest while Griner manages a nation's best 5.1 blocks per game.

Griner scored a Big 12 Championship-record 45 points vs. Kansas State.

• Baylor has outscored its opponents by 27.4 points per game on the season.
Brittney Griner has registered a Big 12 record 562 career blocked shots, and ranks No. 2 on the NCAA Division I Career Top 10 list; she trails record-holder Louella Tomlinson's 663 rejections by 108. At her current pace of 5.2 bpg, Griner will need 20 games to break the record.

• Griner has blocked at least one shot in 102 of her 105-game career and has blocked a shot in 43 straight outings. The three games in which she did not block a shot all came in her sophomore season (vs. FIU, vs. Clemson, vs. Kansas State).
• Baylor is 8-0 vs. Top 25 teams this season, including 3-0 vs. Top 10 opponents. Baylor's scoring margin vs. ranked opponents is +16.6, while its rebounding margin is +10.4.
• Baylor was 27-0 a year ago and is 29-0 this season when scoring 70 or more points and has now won 107 straight such games since a 78-72 overtime loss at North Carolina State in the 2nd Round of the 2007 NCAA Tournament at Raleigh, N.C. The Lady Bears also have a string of 91 consecutive victories, including a 15-0 record in 2011-12, when putting 80 or more points on the scoreboard, since a 103-99 triple-overtime loss at Nebraska in 2004-05.

BAYLOR IN BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES
In Big 12 Championship contests, Baylor is 5-3 in first round games, 8-5 in quarterfinal contests, 6-2 in semifinal games and 3-2 in the finals.The Lady Bears are 22-12 (.647) all-told in Big 12 Championship games, including 21-8 under head coach Kim Mulkey. BU has won its first Big 12 Championship game in 11 of Mulkey's 12 seasons and will be playing in its fifth of the last eight title games.
