The Baylor women's basketball team and coaches will be at the Ferrell Center to watch the 2010 NCAA Women's Basketball Selection Show on Monday, March 15. The bracket will be revealed on ESPN beginning at 6 p.m. (CDT). The event is open to the public with Ferrell Center doors opening at 5:00 p.m.
ESPN will present the exclusive live announcement of the 64-team NCAA Tournament field as part of its Selection Monday Special Show. They will air an additional exclusive hour on ESPNU on Monday, March 15 at 8 p.m., following ESPN's announcements at 7 p.m. This show, hosted by Trey Wingo, Carolyn Peck and Kara Lawson with contributions from Doris Burke and Rebecca Lobo, will provide in-depth coverage of the women's bracket announcement.
Baylor, currently 23-8 on the season and ranked No. 14 nationally, will be appearing in the NCAA Tournament for the seventh straight year and ninth overall. The Lady Bears have advanced to the Sweet 16 four of the last six seasons and won the national championship in 2005.
