Watch Parade Live 
WACO, Texas - Baylor University and the City of Waco will host a downtown parade along Austin Avenue on Monday, April 16, to allow the entire community of Waco to show their appreciation for the Baylor Lady Bears bringing home the NCAA Women's Basketball National Championship trophy.
The parade, which will feature more than 20 cars carrying players, coaches and administrators, will begin at 5:30 p.m., moving from 11th St. and Austin Avenue down to Waco City Hall at Heritage Square, where the lady Bears will be greeted by City, County and State officials.
Waco area citizens are encouraged to wear their Green and Gold and line Austin Avenue to show their appreciation for the Lady Bears' amazing accomplishment of winning the National Championship for the second time and being the only NCAA basketball team (men or women) to have a 40-0 season.
A brief ceremony will take place on a stage in front of Waco City Hall that will include comments from Coach Kim Mulkey.
Anyone who can't attend the celebration and parade can watch it live on the Waco City Cable Channel (available on Channel 10 on Time Warner and Grande cable (in HD on Grande Ch 810) and live streaming on the City's website at www.waco-texas.com.
