Big 12 women's basketball reached the one-million fan mark for the fifth consecutive season while leading the nation in attendance in 2010-11 for the 12th straight year and the Baylor Lady Bears ranked a program-best sixth in home attendance, moving up two spots from last season's eighth place finish.

The Big 12 remains the only conference to draw one million spectators and hit the mark in 2010-11 with 1,005,377 fans for an average of 4,720. In addition to the past five seasons, the Conference first reached the one-million plateau in 2001-02. The league continues to hold NCAA records for both cumulative attendance (1,021,289 in 2009-10) and average attendance (5,331 in 2001-02).

In 2010-11, the Lady Bears drew a Ferrell Center record-breaking 166,593 fans, averaging a record 7,933 a game to rank sixth nationally. BU surpassed the 100,000-mark in home attendance for the sixth straight year.

Eight of the program's Top 25 Ferrell Center crowds were registered in 2010-11.

In addition, Baylor recorded a program-record four sellouts in 2010-11 (Tennessee, Texas Tech, Texas, Texas A&M) and its first back-to-back sellouts (Texas & Texas A&M) ever.

The Lady Bears ranked No. 1 among Big 12 schools in total attendance and were No. 3 nationally and No. 1 in the Big 12 in all-games attendance which includes home, road and neutral sites. Baylor (3. 270,280), Texas A&M (6. 238,734), Iowa State (7. 219,829) and Texas Tech (10.187,424) were among the top 10 programs in all-games attendance.
