WBB's Wallace Honored by Basketball Australia

WACO, Texas - Incoming freshman women's basketball player Kristy Wallace, who hails from the Australian state of Queensland, was recently named Basketball Australia's 2013 Junior Female Player of the Year. Below is a list of her accomplishments over the past year.

• Selected to the National Performance Program
• Member of the Southern Districts that won the Basketball Queensland Junior Basketball Competition Premier League and Division 1 State Championships
• Selected to the Under 18 South Girls State Team that won Bronze at the 2013 Australian Junior Championship
• South East Australian Basketball League Most Improved Player
• Selected to the 19 and Under Australian Team
• MVP of the Pacific Games Tournament
• Member of the gold medal winning John Paul College team at the Champion Basketball School of Queensland Tournament
• MVP of the Australian Champion School Tournament
• Logan City Young Sportsperson of the Year
• Selected to the Centre of Excellence and the Opals Squad in 2014
