IRVING, Texas - Shanay Washington (Baylor) , Brittany Spears (Colorado) and Ashley Sweat (Kansas State) and were named Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Players of the Week by a media voting panel for games from Nov. 16-22. Spears (player) was honored for the fifth time in her career while Sweat (player) and Washington (freshman) picked up their first award.

Shanay Washington, in her first career start, led Baylor in scoring with a career-high 18 points in the Lady Bears' 69-49 win at No. 17/11 California. The freshman guard was 8-of-10 from the perimeter, including 2-for-2 from 3-point range, and added three rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes of action. Against Tennessee Tech, Washington scored 10 points while adding two assists, two steals and two rebounds in 16 minutes of play. She averaged 14.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals for the week. Washington shot 70.6 percent from the field, hitting 12-of-17 shots.

Brittany Spears was named to the Minnesota Subway Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 23 points and 10 rebounds in two games. She scored 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds in a season-low 25 minutes in the 63-49 win over Illinois-Chicago. The junior forward recorded her 17th career double-double and second of the season with a game-high 27 points and 13 rebounds against Minnesota in the tournament final. She reached a double-double before intermission with 16 points and 10 rebounds in the opening 20 minutes. Spears hit 10-of-20 shots from the field and added four assists and four steals.

Ashley Sweat recorded her first career double-double and a Big 12 season-best for points in Kansas State's 70-63 win over Washington State. She registered a career-high 33 points with 11 rebounds while hitting 12-of-19 shots from the field and 8-of-10 from the free throw line. The scoring effort was the highest by a Wildcat since Kendra Wecker scored a school record 41 on Nov. 26, 2004. It tied for the 11th-highest scoring output in a single game in school history. Sweat tallied 16 points, including 11-of-14 from the foul line, and nine rebounds in 40 minutes of action against Arkansas State. For the week, the senior forward averaged 24.5 points and 10.0 rebounds. She was 14-of-29 from the field and 19-of-24 from the free throw line.
