The Baylor Lady Bears moved up four spots to No. 6 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll after posting victories over Stephen F. Austin and Rice this past week.

Baylor, 4-0 on the season, has risen 13 spots since its No. 19 AP preseason ranking. Connecticut, North Carolina, California, Oklahoma and Stanford, a team that the Lady Bears defeated, rank No. 1 - 5, respectively.

Baylor has been ranked in a school-record 94 straight AP polls dating back to week nine of the 2003-04 listing when it broke in at No. 24. Baylor spent 11 weeks ranked in the top 10 last season achieving a high of No. 5 on Feb. 4.

Baylor will play in the Paradise Jam at Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands Nov. 27-29. On Thursday, Nov. 27 they will take on the University of Central Florida, face Villanova on Friday, Nov. 28 and finish up with Wisconsin on Saturday, Nov. 29. All games begin at 2:30 p.m. (CST).
