Heather Healy is in her third season as an assistant coach on the Baylor equestrian coaching staff, joining the program in July of 2015.
Healy works with the hunt seat riders, helping to lead one of the most traditionally successful and prolific units in the country.
In the 2016-17 season, the flat team finished with an astonishing 14-2-1 record, with the only two losses coming by just a single point in road meets. The flat riders finished on an eight-meet win streak, including a 5-0 sweep that all but clinched the Big 12 title over Oklahoma State. The fences group finished 8-5-4, with continued improvement and leadership returning for the 2017-18 campaign.
Healy was a four-year letterwinner for the Baylor program from 2007 to 2011.
She earned her CPA license in 2012, working for three years as a public accountant and taught riding lessons on the side before returning back to the coaching staff in 2015.
Healy earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting form Baylor in 2011.
