Baylor's equestrian team posted most decisive victory of the season and recorded its third straight win when it defeated Tennessee-Martin, 14-2, at the Willis Family Equestrian Center on Saturday. With the victory, Baylor raised its season record to 7-9.

En route to the victory, the Bears captured MVP honors in all four events. Sophomore Beth Banister (Brighton, Colo.) took top honors in Equitation on the Flat, freshman Kendra Vicary (Whitehouse, Ohio) was Equitation Over Fences MVP, Michelle Reynolds (Albuquerque, N.M.), a junior, registered the top score in Reining and sophomore Lindsay Douglas (Issaquah, Wash.) was named Horsemanship MVP.

Baylor registered a 7-1 victory in Hunter Seat competition, winning Equitation Over Fences 4-0 and Equitation on the Flat 3-1. Scoring points in Fences for Baylor were Vicary, Heather Healy (Pasadena, Calif.), Banister and Shelby White (Waco, Texas), while Vicary and White joined Banister in scoring in Flat.

The Bears' Western squad also tallied a 7-1 win, blanking UT-Martin 4-0 in Reining and posting a 3-1 triumph in Horsemanship. In addition to Reynolds' MVP ride, Nicole McCoy (Lafayette, Colo.), Madelyn Mooney (Riverside, Calif.) and Katie Buss (Concrete, Wash.) tallied points in Reining. Joining Douglas in scoring in Horsemanship were Allison Orosz (Salem, Ohio) and Ashleigh Carlson (Ladysmith, Wis.).

Baylor's will complete its regular season schedule when takes on TCU in Fort Worth on Saturday, March 8.
