No. 6 Equestrian Battles At SMU

Feb. 15, 2013

WACO - The No. 6 Baylor equestrian team (7-4) will look to bounce back in the win column, traveling to SMU (5-2) on Saturday, Feb. 16 at BuckBranch Farm in Dallas.

Saturday's match will mark the first time the Bears have competed against a full Mustangs squad, as SMU just added a Western team in 2013.

"This is our last road match for a while and we need to finish strong," head coach Ellen White said. "It is exciting to compete against SMU in a full competition and we know they will be excited."

The Bears are coming off a 12-7 loss at TCU on Feb 9 in Fort Worth. This match will mark the first for SMU, which won its final two competitions of the fall.

The two Hunter Seats last squared off on Nov. 12, 2011 with BU taking a 9-3 win.
