WACO, Texas - The Bears travel to College Station today to compete in the second English Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) show hosted by Texas A&M this year. The show will feature both Equitation over Fences and Equitation on the Flat events at the N.W. `Dick' Freeman Arena on Saturday and Sunday. The English team with the most points at the end of this weekend's shows will head to the Zone 7 Championships on April 9 to face off against the English champion from Zone 7, Region 1 for the right to compete at the IHSA National Championships on May 4-7.
This weekend will be Baylor's second appearance in the IHSA show; the first was back in November. On day one, the Bears tied for first place with Oklahoma State with 37 team points while Texas A&M placed second with 34 points. On day two, the Bears placed fifth with 25 points while Oklahoma State again shared first place but with Texas A&M this time. Both teams earned 34 points.
