Being a part of a team and being part of something in college.

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Amanda-Captain, since I'm a captain.
After meeting Coach White, what was you first thought?
How willing she was to work with us as a new team.
Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it?
Visualizing my pattern. I sit in a corner by myself and sitting quietly for five minutes.
Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Probably David and Karen O'Connor who are event riders who made it all by themselves.
What is the highlight of your sports career?
Being the high point reiner at South Carolina.
What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
Having my mom as my trainer. I had to deal with coach vs. daughter situation.
What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
Auburn. We are ready to beat them on Thursday.
What is one thing Coach White always tells you?
Keep focused. Stay calm and cool. Keep my head on my shoulders.
What is your favorite team road trip?
Definitely South Carolina and Auburn.
Who is your biggest fan?
Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
For the team and the Christian atmosphere.
What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
Time management. Dealing with school and 25 other girls.
What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Make goals and stick with them even through the hard times.
What are three words that describe you?
Goofy, loud, and unique.
What song is stuck in your head right now?
That one from American Idol by Daniel Powter, Bad Day.
What is your favorite T.V. show?
Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
All my friends back home would be surprised that I ride Western because I grew up riding English all my life.
Name one thing you can't go a week without.
What is your dream job?
Equine pharmaceutical sales representative.
What's your most valued possession?
My photo album.
Favorite musical artist?
I will not walk under any ladders.
Least favorite food?
Worst movie you've seen?
Bring It On.
A black, Old Navy, five year old shirt.
Best opposing Big 12 fans?
That's limited for equestrian programs in the Big 12 but South Carolina has good fans.
