Equestrian Looks to Even Big 12 Record vs. Kansas State

Baylor will look to bounce back from a loss to TCU vs. Kansas State Friday

Oct. 17, 2013

WACO, Texas - The No. 7 ranked Baylor equestrian team will play host to No. 4 Kansas State at Noon Friday at the Willis Family Equestrian Center. The two schools split matches last season with the road team taking losses in both instances.

Baylor has been idle since its first Big 12 loss to No.8 TCU Oct. 5, 11-9. Despite the team loss, the Bears boasted three of the four MOP's in the meet. Samantha Schaefer won MOP honors in both fences and flat while Bryn Lindley won MOP honors in horsemanship, defeating her opponent with a score of 75.

Kansas State is coming off a 17-2 victory over Texas A&M, and the Wildcats have won their only Big 12 matchup of the season, 11-9 over Oklahoma State, Sept. 28.

Both Baylor and Kansas State have undefeated hunter seat teams.
