Fall 2008 [junior] / Played in all five tournaments and recorded a scoring average of 79... Shot a 228 (78-75-75) to finish 22nd at the Price's New Mexico State Invitational - her best performance in the fall and her third personal best total and finish as a Bear... Also tied for 28th at the Morehead Invitational, paced by a low round of 78... Finished tied for 33rd at the Ron Moore Invitational with a total of 233 (77-79-77)... Played in the Ptargmigan/Ram Classic (75-83-76=234) and Challenge at Wolfdancer (87-84-82=253)... Named to Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Spring 2008 [sophomore] / Competed in three tournaments and finished with a scoring average of 82.77... Finished in a tie for 42nd in the "Mo" Morial Invitational with a three-day total of 252 (78-85-89)... Also shot a 243 (85-81-77) at the Central District Invitational... In her last tournament of the season, she shot a two-day total of 169 (84-85) to finish tied for 67th in the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Tournament... Named to Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and was an Academic All-Big 12 selection.

Fall 2007 [sophomore] / After not seeing action in the first two fall tournaments, competed in the final three tournaments... Carded a 244 (78-81-85) in her first tournament to finish tied for 75th at the Price's "Give-em Five" Invitational... Finished the fall season with a 252 (85-87-80) at the Edwin Watts Palmetto intercollegiate and a 247 (83-82-82) at the Challenge at Wolfdancer.

Summer 2007 [redshirt freshman] / Finished second in the San Antonio City Women's tournament after shooting rounds of 72, 72 and 70... Participated in the Texas State Women's Amateur.

Spring 2007 [redshirt freshman] / Competed in all seven tounaments and earned one top 20 finish at the Big 12 championship where she finished with a 232 (75-80-77) and tied for 15th... Recorded lowest collegiate tournament score at the Mountainview Collegiate where she tied for 47th with a 224 (74-73-77)... Tied for 53rd at the Central District Invitational with a 236 (79-79-78=236)... Earned a tie for 71st at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational with a 248 (91-81-76)... Finished regular season tied for 64th at the Susie Maxwell-Berning Classic, a tournament Baylor won, with a 233 (80-78-75)... Shot a 244 (81-80-83) to finished tied for 91st at the NCAA Central Regional in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Fall 2006 [redshirt freshman] / Competed in three tournaments including a low round of 70 in first collegiate action at the Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic... Finished the tournament at 17th (70-74-76=220)... Also played in the Ron Moore Invitational (78-84-78=241) and Wolverine Invitational (80-82-87=249).

2005-2006 [freshman] / Did not compete in any tournaments... Fall and spring Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll selection. National / Finished second in the San Antonio Women's City, scoring 73-75-71...Lost in a sudden death playoff... Participant in the U.S. Public Links Qualifier, CPT Austin (finished 10th), CPT San Antonio (finished 18th) and Texas Women's Open (finished t21)... In 2005, the regional qualifier for the USGA Women's Public Links Amateur to compete at the national championship in Kansas City... Won the San Antonio City Women's Amateur championship... Five-year participant in the Women's Western Junior... Made the 2004 championship consolation semifinals... Five-time participant in the Kathy Whitworth Junior Invitational, including a top 25 finish in 2005... Had three top 25 finishes in AJGA events.

Prior to Baylor / A 2005 graduate of MacArthur High School in San Antonio, where she won the 2004 Texas Class 5A championship... Won the 2004 and 2005 District and Regional titles... Received outstanding MacArthur High School student award, the AJGA Sportsmanship award and the San Antonio Express-News 5A Female Player of the Year.

Personal / Full name is Natalie Marie Hocott... Daughter of Richard and Brenda Hocott... Dad was a member of the University of Texas golf team 1974-1978 and a 20-year PGA member... Mother was a member of the Texas A&M golf team 1973-1978 and played on the LPGA tour from 1980-1984... Chose Baylor because it's a small school with a Christian environment... Favorite club is her putter... Favorite golfers are Ernie Els and Lorena Ochoa... Public relations major.
