BOULDER, Colo. - The Lady Bears golf team finished second out of 15 teams, with an overall score of 597 at the Heather Farr Memorial at the University of Colorado.

The Bears attack at first place was cut short because the tournament was ended due to snow. Baylor finished five shots behind San Jose State.

Leading the Bears with a tie in 10th place were Hanna-Sofia Svenningson, Ali Brewer and Melanie Hagewood with a score of 149. Nicole Johnson finished 14th with a score of 150. Tara Bateman finished with a 166.

The Lady Bears will play next at the Franklin Street Trust Tar Heel Invitational at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill on Oct. 8-10.
