Baylor got consistent performances
throughout the lineup to shoot a team total
314-321--635 and win the Hatter Fall Classic
hosted by Steton.
The victory was Baylor's first since coach Sylvia
Ferdon took over the program in 1994.
Ali Brewer and Hanna-Sofia Svenningsson led Baylor
with seventh-place finishes, both shooting 158.
Brewer had rounds of 80-78 while Svenningsson shot
78-80 against the 14-team field.
Melanie Hagewood finished 11th at 77-83--160,
followed by Jennie Persson, 17th at 79-83--162 and
Nicole Johnson, 40th at 90-80--170.
Baylor will next see action at the Diet-Coke
Roadrunner Invitational, hosted by New Mexico
State in Las Cruces, N.M. Nov. 1-3.
