The 18-team field features six of the nation's top-nine ranked teams in the Feb. 27 GolfStat rankings. Additionally, there are 13 of the nation's top-35 teams, and all 18 teams in the field are ranked among the nation's top 75.

The 35th-ranked Bears will face off against No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Arkansas, No. 5 Duke, No. 6 Arizona State, No. 8 South Carolina, No. 9 Furman, No. 13 Northwestern, No. 14 Oklahoma State, No. 17 Virginia, No. 26 Wake Forest, No. 27 Vanderbilt, No. 33 North Carolina, No. 34 Auburn, No. 39 Tennessee, No. 56 LSU, No. 67 Mississippi State and No. 73 Georgia.

Baylor's lineup features three freshmen and two upperclassmen. Junior Maria Vesga is in the No. 1 spot, followed by senior Amy Lee, freshman Diane Baillieux, freshman Gurleen Kaur and freshman Laila Hrindova.

Hrindova is making her collegiate debut after enrolling at Baylor in January. Kaur is up one spot to No. 4 after finishing tied for 23rd place in her collegiate debut in February at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge. Vesga is in the No. 1 spot for the seventh time in the last two seasons and the first time since the 2017-18 season opener at the Schooner Fall Classic.

Lee is in the No. 2 spot for the second straight tournament and is competing as part of the Baylor lineup for an 18th straight event. Baillieux is in the lineup for the fifth time out of six events during her first collegiate season.

This is the second time Baylor has played in the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, which has been hosted annually by South Carolina since 2012. BU took seventh place in a 17-team field last season, and Lee posted the Bears' best finish with a tie for 17th place individually. Vesga also played in last year's event and tied for 38th place in the 90-player field.

Baylor golfers are paired with players from Auburn and Mississippi State and will begin Friday's first round from the 10th tee. Hrindova is up first at 7:30 a.m. CT, and she'll be followed in 10-minute intervals by Kaur, Baillieux, Lee and Vesga, respectively. Saturday's second round begins at 7:30 a.m., and Sunday's final round tees off at 7 a.m. Pairings will be drawn based on standings after each round.
