April 9, 2014

WACO, Texas - The Baylor women's golf team has added a two-day head-to-head match against UTSA to its spring schedule. The teams will square off in match play on Saturday and Sunday at Waco's Ridgewood Country Club.

Saturday's round will be two-on-two scrambles, with pairs from each team competing against each other in match play. Sunday's final round will be head-to-head match play. Tee times for Saturday begin at 1:30 p.m. CT, and Sunday's final round is slated for 9:30 a.m. tee times.

Baylor won the 2014 Dallas Athletic Club Invitational on Sunday, earning its first tournament title since Feb. 5, 2013. The event was originally scheduled for three days, but lightning forced Sunday's final round to be cancelled.

The head-to-head match against UTSA is Baylor's last event before heading to the Big 12 Championship, which runs April 25-27 in Austin, Texas.
