Natalia Perez gives Baylor at least one WGCA All-American Scholar in 13 straight seasons.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Baylor women's golf freshman Natalia Perez was selected to the 2012-13 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team, as announced by the WGCA Monday.
Perez's honor gives Baylor at least one selection in 13 consecutive seasons, including 10 years with multiple honorees. Perez played 22 rounds over seven tournaments in her debut season at Baylor. She helped the Lady Bears to their 12th all-time NCAA Regional appearance, recording a 78.68 stroke average on the year.
Perez's best tournament finish of the season came when she tied for 33rd place at the Hurricane Invitational in her first tournament in the Baylor lineup. She improved throughout the season, recording season-bests with a round of 73 and a 54-hole total of 226 at the Lady Bears' final regular season tournament, the Ole Miss Rebel Intercollegiate.
A total of 644 women's collegiate golfers were recognized on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.50, and each Division I team member must have competed in at least 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the academic year.
