BEAR FACTS Archive What is the best part of being a college athlete? Traveling
Favorite sport other than your own? Soccer
What is your nickname on the team and why? Baby Bear, because I was the youngest last year and the smallest. Sian calls me Burkinator, not to sure where that came from though.
After meeting Coach Ferdon, what were your first thoughts? She was experienced and really nice
Do you have a pre-game ritual, if so what is it? I have a certain warm-up routine, I rub the queen’s nose on my 50p ball marker and I give all my team mates a hug before we play.
What is the funniest moment from Baylor practice? I have loads but I must say hiding grip solvent from Allison and hiding Meg's shorts before workouts were extremely entertaining.
Who are your favorite sports heroes? Lance Armstrong
What is the highlight of your sports career? Winning Newcomer of the Year for Big 12 and my latest win and course record at Wolfdancer.
What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome? My endless list of injuries
What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against? Texas A&M
What is one thing Coach Ferdon always tells you? Breathe and swing inside yourself
What is your favorite team road trip? They have all been amazing. Getting to listen to coach sing Celine Dion, visiting the Grand Canyon and listening to Sian's jokes. It can't get much better than that.
Who is your biggest fan? My family
Why did you choose to attend Baylor? The team and golf facilities
What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave? My team and traveling
What is one thing you would change about Baylor? Having the golf course a little closer to campus
As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give? Follow your dreams; anything is possible if you put your mind to it
What are three words that describe you? Loyal, Blunt and Cocky
What song is stuck in your head right now? Ironic
What is your favorite T.V. show? 24
Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you. Aluminum foil makes me cringe. I hate it
Name one thing you can’t go a week without. Cup of tea (English Style)
What is your dream job? Playing on the LPGA tour or coaching
What’s your most valued possession? My watch that my dad gave me before I came here.
Best non-athletic talent? Eating

Biggest superstition? I have loads. I only use white golf tees and a white glove. Have to have clean shoes. The list goes on.
Biggest fear? Anything happening to my family while I'm here
Biggest pet-peeve? Quitters and people interrupting when you are talking
Least favorite food? I don't like cinnamon
Favorite T-Shirt? England Jersey that my sister got me for my birthday
