Women's Golf Head Coach Named Coach Of The Year
Ferdon honored as league's top coach.

WACO, Texas - Baylor women's golf Head Coach Sylvia Ferdon was named Big 12 Conference Coach of the Year by a vote of the league's head coaches. Player Ali Brewer was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team.

Ferdon is in her seventh season as head coach at Baylor after accepting the position in 1994. Baylor has had seven top five tournament finishes this season, as well as a win this fall at the Hatter Fall Classic.

Brewer, a senior marketing major from Crockett, Texas, was also named to the second-team all-conference team last year. She won the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic earlier this spring. Brewer was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 team earlier this week.
