Senior Josefin Svenningsson leads the Bears in an outstanding season.

The women's golf team continues its outstanding season with recognition by Golfstat.com. Golfstat released its latest rankings on Oct. 7, where Baylor made nine appearances.

Senior Josefin Svenningsson ranks first for par-3 scoring with 2.83, and fourth for total short game with an average of .655. Svenningsson was also ranked eighth for putts on green with a 1.808.

Sophomore Sian Reddick is also having an exceptional season and is ranked second in par 3 scoring with a 2.88 and second in greens in regulation with a 8.15, while Junior Anna Rehnholm tied for ninth on fairways hit with .869.

The team took first in par-3 scoring 3.05 followed by the University of New Mexico at 3.09 and Brigham Young University at 3.11. In addition, Baylor ranked in the top 10 for par-4 and par-5 scoring. Baylor will resume tournament play at the Price's "Give-em Five' New Mexico State Invitational hosted by New Mexico State at the University Golf Course in Las Cruces.
