Justine Hovden is entering her second season as the director of soccer operations. She joined the Baylor staff in January 2016, transitioning to the soccer staff after a decorated career as a student-athlete for the Bears.
A key piece to Jobson’s roster as a forward from 2011-2014, Hovden closed out her Baylor playing career with a banner senior season, leading the team in points and game-winning goals. Her three assists vs. Incarnate Word in 2014 notched her place as the third player in program history to achieve that mark in a single match.
Hovden’s main duties include handling a portion of the program’s business responsibilities, team travel, apparel and equipment. Hovden also coordinates communication with the Legacy membership -- the Baylor soccer booster club -- and assists the Baylor staff with youth and coaching clinics throughout the year.
Hovden graduated from Baylor in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
