2006 (Junior): Played and started in all 19 games for Baylor at the defender position... Played a key role on defense in five shutouts on the season... Recorded her only shot on the season in the loss to Kansas (10/15).

2005 (Sophomore): Played in all 18 games for Baylor, starting 17, at the defender position... Had a hand in two shutouts on the season in a 1-0 victory over Houston (8/26) and a scoreless draw with Colorado (10/23)... Did not record a shot on the season.

2004 (Freshman): Saw action in 14 games, starting 10, for Baylor at the midfielder and defender position... Recorded two shots and one assist on the season... Posted an assist in Baylor's 2-1 loss against Oklahoma (10/8) ... Recorded a shot in conference games against Oklahoma State (10/10) and Nebraska (10/17) ... Made her first career start in Baylor's 1-0 loss at the hands of Texas A&M (9/24) ... Started all 10 of Baylor's conference games on the season.

High School: Lettered in soccer for two seasons at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, Calif. ... Helped lead team to CIF North Coast championship her sophomore season... Team was a semi-finalist for the championship during her freshman year... Played club soccer for the Pleasanton Rage... Team was a State Cup finalist in 2000, 2002 and 2004... Personal: Born on Oct. 27, 1986, in Newport News, Va.... Parents are Luis and Collette Zapata... Father lettered in men's soccer at the University of Washington and the University of Florida... Has one brother, Ito, 23, who she lists as her greatest influence on her life as an athlete.
