Ginny Rosario-Tull had a pair of goals in the last 22 minutes of the game to boost Baylor to a 2-0 victory against the University of Houston Cougars Friday night at Robertson Stadium.
The game went 68 scoreless minutes until Rosario-Tull knocked in a shot past Cougar's goalkeeper Sarah Webster. Eight minutes later, Rosario-Tull punched in her second goal of the night with an assist from April Robertson. Rosario-Tull finished the night with eight shots.
Baylor goalkeeper Monica Housden stopped six shots by the Cougars recording her second shutout of the season. Housden's record now improves to 3-0 on the year. First-season Baylor head coach George Van Linder continues his perfect record now improving to
University of Houston's Nikki Hawkins lead the Cougar's attack recording four shots on the night. Nicole Aubuchan and Kelly Golden each contributed for the Cougars with two shots a piece.
The Bears return back home on Sunday to face Utah at 7 p.m. at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field in Waco.
