- No. 9 Baylor used a goal in each half to push past Boise State, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon at Betty Lou Mays Field. In their final tune-up before Big 12 play, the Bears (7-0-2) extended their nation-leading and program-record unbeaten streak to 30 matches, 16 at home.

Baylor got on top of the Broncos (5-3-2) in the 29th minute as a free kick by Taylor Heatherly from the right wing from 45 yards out was headed in by Kat Ludlow from the left post to the right side of the net. The goal marked Ludlow's second career game-winner - both have come this season.

In the second half, a touch pass from the middle of the box by Natalie Huggins to the left side put a charging Karlee Summey one-on-one with the goalie from 15 yards out and Summey blasted a shot by the right side of the goalie for her first goal of the season in the 50th minute.

Earning the win, BU goalie Michelle Kloss made four saves in posting her sixth shutout of the season.

*Both of Kat Ludlow's career game-winning goals have come this season.

*Ludlow scored her third goal this season and seventh of her career, six of which have been headers.

*Taylor Heatherly notched her second game-winning assist of the season as she now has six career assists, two this season.

*Karlee Summey scored her first goal of the season and seventh of her career.
