Baylor University soccer coach Marci Jobson has announced the soccer program has signed a multi-year contract with Under Armour Performance Apparel that will cover the Bears' training and match equipment needs beginning in the fall of 2008.

"We are extremely excited about a company like Under Armour stepping up to support women's soccer," Jobson said. "The girls are all very excited to wear its apparel, which comes so highly regarded."

Founded in 1996, Under Armour is the originator of performance apparel, a line of moisture wicking microfiber clothing that pulls perspiration away from the skin to keep athletes cool, dry and light throughout the course of a game, practice or workout.
