WACO, Texas -Baylor soccer begins its 2014 season this weekend with a pair of home matches at Betty Lou Mays Soccer Field. On Friday at 7 p.m. CT, the Bears will face Rice before hosting Houston Baptist on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Sunday's match will feature a live audio stream on through Baylor All-Access, starting 10 minutes prior to kickoff. Both matches will feature live stats via GameTracker on, while Twitter updates can be found by following @BaylorFutbol.

* Baylor has had 10 or more wins in nine of its 18 seasons as a program and has done so four straight years under Co-Head Coaches Marci and Paul Jobson, who enter their seventh season at BU. The four-year run with 10 or more wins is the first for the program since a five-year run from 1996-2000.

* Baylor is 13-4-1 all-time in season openers and 15-1-2 all-time in home openers. Under the Jobsons, BU is 4-1-1 in season openers and 6-0-0 in home openers.

* In October, the program received approval of a $3.3 million Williams Family Soccer and Olympic Sports Center. Anticipated completion is early 2015.

* Junior forward Bri Campos made three appearances with Mexico's U-20 National Team and earned a spot on the qualifying team as she helped Mexico qualify for the 2014 U-20 Women's World Cup this summer in Canada.

* Campos was Baylor's lone representative on the 2014 Preseason All-Big 12 Team.

* Baylor was chosen fourth in the Big 12 preseason poll, and has been picked to finish in the top four in three straight seasons.

* BU returns 16 players from the 2013 roster and welcomes seven newcomers for 2014. The Bears also return five starters while losing six from 2013. Among the returnees are 2013 first-team All-Big 12 forward Campos and senior goalie Michelle Kloss, who ranked second in the NCAA in 2013 goals against average (0.65) and third in save percentage (.817).

* Baylor has already played two exhibition matches as the Bears won 1-0 in Waco on Aug. 12 vs. Sam Houston State and fell 2-0 to No. 8 Florida in Gainesville on Aug. 16.
