WACO, Texas - No. 7 Baylor soccer begins a season-long, four-match road trip this weekend with a pair of contests in different parts of the country. BU will first face Washington in Seattle on Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT on the Pac-12 Network and then return to Texas to play at 7 p.m. on Sunday at SMU.
Baylor (2-0-0) and Washington (1-1-0) have met just one other time in series history - on Sept. 10, 2006 - and the Huskies came out on top 4-0 in Portland, Ore. SMU (1-1-0) leads BU 7-2-0 in the all-time series but the Bears won the last meeting, which was a 2-1 win in Waco in double overtime on Sept. 14, 2012.

BAYLOR QUICK NOTES
*Baylor begins a season-long four-match road trip this weekend and will have four road matches remaining after the trip -- all in Big 12 play.
*Baylor is unbeaten in its last nine road matches - last loss came Aug. 26, 2012 at Long Beach State (2-1 in OT).
*Baylor has a current program-record unbeaten streak of 23 matches and has not finished with a tally in the loss column for 368 days.
*Baylor has a current home winning streak of 13 matches, dating back to the 2011 season, which ties a program record that was set from 1997-98.
*Baylor improved to 13-4-1 all-time in season openers and 15-1-2 all-time in home openers with its 5-0 win over UTSA last Friday, getting all five goals from five different players.
*Under Co-Head Coaches Marci and Paul Jobson, BU is now 4-1-1 in season openers, 6-0-0 in home openers.
*Baylor posted back-to-back shutouts in its opening weekend for the 22nd time under the Jobsons.
*Baylor has started a season with two straight shutout wins under the Jobsons three times now (2010, 2012).
*Baylor has not given up a goal for 218:21 minutes - last goal came in the 82nd minute of BU's Sweet 16 tie at North Carolina last season.
*Baylor holds significant edges over its opponents in goals (10-0), shots (56-13), shots on goal (30-5) and corner kicks (9-1).
*Freshman midfielder Ashley York was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week and Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday as she leads the Big 12 in points (7) and goals (3). She's the first in program history to earn both honors in her first week of collegiate play. In her BU debut against UTSA, her first collegiate shot in the eighth minute from the box off a rebound found the back of the net. Against Northwestern State, York had the game-winning assist as she set up Bri Campos in the fourth minute. York then added the BU's third and fourth goals in the 53rd and 56th minutes.
*With York's two weekly league honors, the Jobsons have coached 11 honorees of one of the league's weekly awards. Overall, Baylor has compiled 28 honorees.
*Michelle Kloss earned her 20th and 21st wins as goalkeeper last week, moving her three wins shy of Ashley Noah for third on the Baylor all-time list.
*Baylor is ranked seventh by Top Drawer Soccer, 10th by BennettRank, 11th by the NSCAA, 13th by Soccer Times and 20th by Soccer America in the organizations' first in-season polls.
*Baylor's 2-0-0 opening weekend helped the Big 12 post a combined 12-3-3 record in the first week of play.
