One of the most prolific home run hitters in Baylor history, Holly Fields joins the coaching staff this season after completing her eligibility last spring.

A native of Andrews, Texas, Fields finished her career tied for fourth all-time at Baylor with 13 home runs. She also ranks ninth on Baylor’s career RBI chart (54) and seventh in slugging percentage (.416). Fields produced one of the most-memorable hits in the program’s history last spring. With two outs in the bottom of the seventh at then-No. 10 Fresno State, Fields singled to right field, scoring Carrie Levesque and pushing the game to extra innings. The Lady Bears eventually won 2-1, just the third victory over a top 10 team in Baylor history.

Fields, graduated from Baylor in December with a bachelor of science degree, works primarily with infielders and assists in day-to-day operation of the program.
