Pete Vamvakas enters his first season as volunteer assistant coach after spending the past three seasons as a team manager, assisting with field maintenance.

Among his many duties, Vamvakas' responsibilities with the team include assisting with the outfielders and overseeing managers and the maintenance of the field at Getterman Stadium.

Vamvakas, who played on three national championship baseball teams growing up, graduated from Baylor in 2011 with a degree in general studies and resides in Waco.
