WACO, Texas - The No. 15 Baylor softball team (18-5) opened its spring break with a pair of shutout victories, defeating North Dakota State (14-11) 1-0 in eight innings before taking down UTSA (10-12) 5-0 in the nightcap.
"I thought we relaxed a little better in game two after we knocked some rust off in the first game," head coach Glenn Moore said. "Our pitching really stepped up and did well and we started swinging the bats."
